Our Founder

Dr. Satya B. Borgohain

Dr. Borgohain is the former Director of a Schedule ‘A’ CPSE and he has 38 years of post-qualifications experience. He received Ph.D degree in Management, an International MBA degree form Europe, a Gold Medalist in MSW (PM & IR) and also LL.B degree.

He has made significant contribution in transformation space in organisations, viz, POWERGRID and NEEPCO where he served 25 and 10 years respectively. His core competencies are in the area of Strategic Management, HRMS, HRD, OD intervention, Corporate Governance, CSR, Legal solutions in cases pertaining to Industrial Laws, Labour Laws, Contract Labour cases and Employees’ service matters.

Dr. Borgohain was the Chairman, SCOPE, NER Chapter and he was the member of Executive Board, SCOPE for two terms. He was associated with various committees such as the Committee for Turning Around the Sick CPSEs, HR Committee and Executives Compensation Committee.

He received several awards some of which are: “Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Excellence Award”, “Global 100 Most Talented HR Professional in Asia ”, National HR Award”, “HR Leader Gold Award”, “Training Excellence Award” and “Star PSU Director of the Year”.


  1. Dr. S. K. Acharya, Former CMD, NLC.

Presently, Dr. Acharya is Advisor and National Professor for Birla Global University (BGU). He is also an Independent Director on the Board of Bhubaneswar Smart City Ltd. (BSCL).

Dr. Acharya headed NLC India Limited, a Mining and Power Navratna PSU of Govt. of India as CMD. He also held the position of Chairman in two more companies – NLC Tamilnadu Power Limited (NTPL) and Neyveli Uttar Pradesh Power Limited.

He carries with him rich and varied experience of over 38 years of working in BHEL, NTPC, NTPC-SAIL Power Company and NLCIL. He was conferred with the ‘Seva Ratna Award’, CSR Icon Award and the ‘Brand of the Decade Award’.

2. Mr. D. D. Misra, Former Director, ONGC.

Mr. Misra is the former Director (Human Resource) of ONGC, India’s leading Maharatna E & P Company of Union Government. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration (MPA) and undergone Leadership Development Programme at IIM, Bangalore followed by overseas programme at Alberta School of Business, Calgary (Canada) and University of Texas (US) in 2013.

Starting his career as Graduate Trainee, he left his imprint in diverse assignments given to him in over three decades with the Company. During his tenure in ONGC, he conceptualized and steered numerous sustainable HR Initiatives to enthuse the morale and motivation of the 33000 plus regular employees and about 17000 secondary workforce. As a unique HR Initiative , under his mentorship, he groomed Team of 6 and 9 ONGCians, who scaled Mount Everest in May, 2017 and Mount Kanchenjunga in May -2018, respectively.

3. Mr. Dhiren Goswami, Former Deputy Labour Commissioner:
Sri Goswami worked in labour welfare department, Govt. of Assam and functioned as Deputy Labour Commissioner. He was consultant to the Labour Welfare Depatarment, Assam .

Sri Goswami has vast experience in Labour matters and he worked in the capacity of – a quasi judicial authority involved in resolving disputes through mediation and consensus under the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. His vast experiences, spanning over 35 years, were in the field of Labour management issues, statutory compliance in plantation and factories and all labour related statutory compliance matters.
Sri Goswami handled various roles such as Controlling Authority under the Payment of Gratuity Act, Authority under the Payment of Wages Act/Minimum Wages Act, Commissioner under the Employee’s Compensation Act, Appellate Authority under the A.S.E Act etc. He had experience of working mostly with the downtrodden classes such as tea garden workers and other industrial workers.


  1. Mr Narendra Akhouri

Mr. Narendra has done his Post Graduate Diploma in HR from XLRI, Jamshedpur and is certified as ACC from ICF (US). He is actively engaged in Executive Coaching for CEOs and Senior Corporate Leaders. He was a Member of the Global Committee on Membership and Community of ICF (International Coach Federation) for over four years. He has over 35 years of corporate experience in companies like Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(HUL), Seagram Manufacturing Company, GE, Tisco, and finally in Hero MotoCorp Ltd where he held the position of Sr. VP-HRM.

Narendra’s corporate experience further evolved with his joining as a full time Professor in Human Resource and Organisational Behaviour in International Management Institute. His area of interest was Executive Coaching and has been a Member of the National Committee of CII in HR, the Steering Committee for 12th 5 year Plan constituted by the Planning Commission.

Mr. Sandhu – soldier, sportsman, and leader – has been a proud member of India’s prestigious armed forces for 39 years, having held key positions in all Arms Operational environment. He has served as an instructor at all premier defense institutions in India including the National Defence Academy and the Defence Services Staff College which sparked the passion in him to become a speaker.

A prodigious young achiever, Lt Gen Sandhu possesses a rare blend of sports and professional achievements at the highest level. He served as Director General of Information Technology of the Indian Army and also lead his parent Corps as Director General of Supplies & Transport. He was responsible for framing logistic policies for the Indian Army including forecasting, procurement, supply chain management and quality control through the resources deployed across India besides training army officers and jawans in operations, logistics, administration and jointmanship.

He has been bestowed with several honours, including the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, the Vishisht Seva Medal and the Army Commanders Commendation Card.

3. ANIL BHATNAGAR, International Coach:
Mr Bhatnagar is a leadership guru and a sought-after corporate trainer for more than 20 different behavioral subjects for over 100 leading companies in India and the Middle East.

He is a keynote speaker and a visiting faculty to several management institutes in India. With an average feedback rating of 9.4 on a ten-point scale, his workshops almost always receive standing ovations from the audience. He is a newspaper columnist and has written leading articles for Covey Leadership Centre’s magazines in the U.S. and Life Positive in India. He is an ISTD award-winning author of 5 books, including Reverse Your Thoughts, Reverse Your Diseases and The Five Wise Monkeys of Communication. He has appeared as an expert on behavioral issues in the Evening Live Show on the National Network of Television


1.Sri Manuj Kar:
Mr Kar is an astute HR Professional with a strategic mindset, proven business acumen, intellect, balance emotional and cultural outlook, coupled with courage and an inclusive style, with around 29 years of experience across Infrastructure and Services sector, in Organizations like NHPC, POWERGRID, Shankara Institute of Technology and most Recently as Director at Affinity Business School.

Sri Kar is a HR Professional having experience in HRM, HRD, IR, Employee Engagement, Organization Research and Development. He has over 14 years of experience in Institution Building, Academics, Entrepreneurship, Corporate Training, Consulting, CSR and Skill Development. Around 15 Years of Experience in Two Central Power Sector Corporations in India as a practicing HR executive as a part of team that plan, recruit, motivate, develop and retain human resources.

2.Sri D. Madhavan

Mr Madhavan has a multi-dimensional approach in conducting programs as Trainer, Knowledge Enabler, story teller, counsellor, Life coach and organisation Development Facilitator. He has total 32 years of Experience of working in core HR area in leading Power Sector companies like NHPC and POWERGRID. He conducts workshops/ learning sessions and trainings for both public and Private sectors.

His Academic credentials include Post graduate Degree (MA) in Social work and LLB followed by M.Phil Degree. He is a diploma holder in Training and development from ISTD. The topics which he handles with deep insight and experience includes Emotional Intelligence, Stress, anger and Ego Management, Resonant relationship building, Work place counselling skills, Positive Energy Psychology, Developing a positive attitude mindset pattern and Mindfulness coaching for personal empowerment and achieving excellence.
